This is a wonderful bookshop for those interested in Islamic literature. It is here that you are most likely to find tafsirs (Books explaining the Quran) and great collections of ahadith (traditions of Prophet Mohammed). By far the best thing about this bookshop/publishing house is that it is also very involved in translating these religious books into other languages (mainly English, but also French and German). It is certainly one of the best places to get an English translation of the Quran; however, it is well to remember that no translation of the Quran is ever "authoritative" due to the complexity of the language and the many nuances of meanings. Still, a good translation is a treasure. Particularly recommended is the Abdullah Yususf Ali translation of the Quran. Happy reading!
