Housed within Arun Residence, the Deck by the River restaurant is in a superb location with a fine view across Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn, and a pleasant breeze from the Chao Praya River. Dining is in a small garden with large umbrellas on the upstairs balcony or inside with air conditioning. The menu has a variety of French, Italian and Thai dishes including lamb or duck and a variety of pastas. Although open all day, the Deck is busier in the evenings, and it is worth booking an upstairs table overlooking the river if possible.
