Quan Thanh Temple, Tran Vu Quan name is the word, from the Ly Thai To (1010 - 1028), Huyen Thien Tran Vu church, is one of four temple deities are prepared to hold four town gateway into the ancient Thang Long (Thang Long died). Four temples are: White Horse Temple (eastern defending the city); Voi Phuc Temple (hold town west of the city); Kim Lien Temple (Southern defending the city); Quan Thanh Temple (defending northern capital city). Quan Thanh Temple is located beside the West Lake, along with Kim Lien Pagoda and Tran Quoc Pagoda create harmony in landscape architecture and the cultural beliefs of the area northwest of Hanoi
