This industrial museum is dedicated to the development of the diesel engine and its location, in the south-western corner of Copenhagen, refers to the area's history as the old Burmeister & Wain (B&W) shipyard, now part of MAN Diesel & Turbo, which has provided the backing for DieselHouse. This is certainly not a quiet museum, as it features a large selection of engines, including many unique models: One of the world's largest, the gargantuan HC Ørsted engine from 1932, is started on the first and third Sunday of every month at 11am; the first B&W engine can be heard at 2pm on Thursdays. The museum is located a short walk from Dybbølsbro Station and the Fisketorvet mall, close to the waterfront. Adm. Free; Closed Fri-Sat and every other Sunday.
