Enter the tall, dimly lit flagship store of the famous American designer, Donna Karan, and you feel like you have entered a temple. Which in a sense, is fair, given the 'sacred' feel of these beautiful clothes, not to mention their otherworldly price tags. Exquisitely simple shirts in dozens of muted tones go for about HKD2,000; everything else for more. But the space alone, if not the gorgeous goods, is worth a look. You will feel as if you have made a voyage to another world, and if you come out carrying bags, it will cost as much.
