Stellenbosch Cuisines: European, Arabic, French

About

Doornbosch is a cosy venue with a distinctive Mediterranean charm, which is why the locals return time after time. This semi-rural venue, painted in bright lime and blue, is set in two rooms divided by a reception area and bar. Adding to the mood are padded wooden chairs, eccentric chandeliers and sconces and a grand Bacchanalian fireplace. Mostly French, Italian and Moroccan fare is offered, along with game, seafood, tagine and pasta. There is an extraordinary wine selection, without a wine list, as there is a wine gallery which includes a reasonably priced selection.
