A family-run business, Drummindoo Stud & Equitation Centre in scenic Westport, Co Mayo, has a great selection of horses and ponies and you’re sure to find one to suit you, whatever your level. They offer horse riding instruction, English, and run their popular pony camps during the school holidays. There’s progressive off-road riding with all-weather facilities, including an indoor arena; outdoor arenas and an oval gallop track are also available. For history buffs and horse enthusiasts there is also a free horse heritage display on site and if you’d like to take one home with you, there are a fine selection of Connemara Ponies for sale.If you’re looking for transport with a difference, they also have a horse drawn carriage for hire.
