This center, on the corner of Epsom and Derby road, provides an insight into Indian culture. Durban Cultural & Documentation Centre documents the history of Durban's Indian community, and covers indentured labor, Mahatma Gandhi in South Africa, cultural artifacts, paintings, culinary art, traditional clothing and jewelery. The influx of Indian culture and its community is an important part of South African history and society - this museum preserves it well.
