East Devon Golf Club is regarded by many as one of the finest courses in the South West and is well reviewed in the Top 100 Golf Courses of the British Isles. At 6231 yards, it is not a long course but offers a fair and interesting test of golf that requires accurate shot-making in order to score well. The fairways have been cut through a profusion of heather and gorse and, according to Peter Alliss, the 16th tee provides 'the best view in golf'.
