Eataly

Via Nizza, 230 Cuisines: Italian

About

Eataly in Turin is a food and wine centre where visitors can buy, taste and learn about high-quality food and drink. Set in the heart of the city, close to the Lingotto convention and shopping centre, you will find Eataly, (yes I know in marketing terms the name is a bit corny but wait until you go inside!) because you will find over 11,000 square metres of food and wine heaven split over three floors. Created in what was once the former Carpano vermouth factory there is a vast marketplace. This is much more than just a food store, the produce on display is closely related to its own history and culture, after all the Slow Food Movement was founded here in Piedmont, in nearby Bra. There are also eight themed restaurants, two café-bars and an agrigelateria ice-cream stand inside Eataly and every day you can try over 100 different dishes based on Eataly's market products.
