The Eclipse cocktail bar concept was created by Ignite Group Founder Matt Hermer in 1998 when he bought his favourite local bar in Chelsea's Walton Street on an impulse and turned it into a stylish late-night venue at the forefront of the revolution in London's cocktail culture.

Eclipse helped make Walton Street trendy, quickly becoming known for its cutting edge music and innovative cocktails, made only with premium spirits, champagne and fresh fruit. Its signature Watermelon Martini is still hugely popular, almost 15 years later.
