The Electric Owl is a bit of an anomaly because it serves Asian inspired food, cold beers and more than likely a band or DJ will be on stage on any given night. It's the best of both worlds because if you're the type of person that likes to sit back, enjoy a nibble and listen to some tunes, or be the person up at the front, rocking out to the talent on stage, you can do that here. It's a restaurant, bar, dance club and concert venue all in one. They also hold a karaoke night every so often. It's slightly off the beaten path and showcases a lot of local talent, making it a favorite hangout amongst Vancouverites.
