Kampung (village)-styled dishes are served up in this chic restaurant under the Starhill umbrella. The menu is the owner's family recipes (passed down through the generations) which are cooked with top-grade produce. Heed chef Ahmad Kamaroull Mohd Zabidi works his magic cooking traditional food he's grown up with. Using the freshest of local herbs and spices Chef Ahmad brings age-old recipes to the modern table. Try sup ekor (oxtail soup), gado gado (lightly blanched vegetables tossed together in peanut gravy), sambal tumis udang (prawns cooked in tamarind juice and fiery dry red chilies), rendang Padang (chunks of beef slowly cooked in spices and coconut cream). Eat surrounded by antique brassware, and served by a team of well-trained and hospitable staff.
