Very convenient to the hotel district, Forelin is known for seafood and meat in elegant, international styles at reasonable prices. For starters, try the excellent fish soup served with seafood rouille and toasted house bread; eggplant stuffed with calamari and dried tomato with yogurt and coriander; or rustic chicken liver pâté. Second courses, available in small or big portions, include shrimp tempura in piquant Asian sauce; spiced lamb kabobs in techina; or delicate sautéed soft-shell blue crab in garlic cream. Big main courses are served with potato or vegetables and salad and include steaks, fresh oven-baked fish, great seafood pasta, and a combination seafood "feast." There's a special dessert chef turning out wonderful creations.
