About

This Irish-style café-restaurant, next to Det Ny Teater, is a very charming place with lots of atmosphere and Danish-international cuisine. The room is decorated in dark colours, as are many other traditional Danish restaurants. But still this place is very different from others, as it is heavily inspired by its location near one of Copenhagen's theatres; countless old playbills hang on the walls and even on the ceiling. You'll also find old costume accessories like hats and walking sticks. Dinner here will put you in the right mood for the show next door. For lunch the traditional choice of open sandwiches is available for DKK38 per piece, with for instance pickled herrings, homemade liver pâté and rullepølse (sausage made of rolled meat).
