About

The Beach at Freshwater East is a wide, sandy beach backed by low dunes and surrounding headland. The beach is popular for water sports, in particular surfing, sailing and swimming, and for fishing. The beach is easily reached by car and has a car park with 80 spaces (charges may apply) at the west end of the beach, and also a slipway for launching boats. Freshwater East beach has Green Coast Seaside Awards.
