Galleria Alberto Sordi was named after the Italian actor Alberto Sordi when it reopened December 2003 after a long restoration. It was once known as Galleria Colonna, a sort of "covered street" and an elegant "salon" for Rome at the beginning of the 20th century. Nowadays this hidden treasure is again a shopping mall located in the very heart of Rome. It houses a bookshop, several fashion stores and a couple of cafés, and presents small exhibitions and events quite often. - Maria Frullini
