Formerly a train station, Gatzweilers Brauhaus is an arresting sight from the outside. Now a restaurant and brewery, Gatzweilers attracts a mix of locals and Japanese ex-pats who come for the dark and aromatic beers. The cuisine is homely and traditional: sour kidneys and schweinshaxe (roast pork) fresh from the oven. The prices are fairly high but the efficient service more than makes up for it.
