German Village

German Village (Vila Germânica). This is one of the main tourist spots in the city. It's a street filled with German-style houses that sell from souvenirs to hot dogs. In 2006 a new building was built and became one of the most beautiful timber buildings in Blumenau and it currently hosts a restaurant. The famous Oktoberfest happens there, the biggest in Brazil, always in October.
