Gitane Known as San Francisco's hidden gem, Gitane's interior exhibits the sexy playfulness of a 1930's cabaret, the swagger of Serge Gainsbourg, and the audacious spirit of the 70's disco era. Executive Chef Alicia Jenish is taking the gypsy Gitane back to her roots with a culinary program focused on Spain, France, and North Africa. Using whole animal butchery and a love for spice, expect to see rotating items such as grilled goat, seafood tajines, and house-made goat merguez.
