The Gol Gumbaz is famous for the beautiful Islamic architecture. It is the tomb of Mohammed Adil Shah the erstwhile Sultan of Bijapur was built during the late 1600s. The ruler was known to have brought administrative reforms in the region. This beautiful monument is octagonal in shape and has seven floors. The unique acoustics of the monument make sure that every sound made is returned back nine times.
