Knysna Golf Club was founded in 1909 and only moved to its present location in 1953. It started as a 9-hole course and was made an 18-hole course in 1960.The course originally had bayview greens and very few bunkers until, in 1994, an extensive upgrade program was launched and 18 new bent greens were built. Today we enjoy greens which are highly receptive, with a constantly smooth putting surface all year round.
