The
Golghar or Gol Ghar, located to the west of the Gandhi Maidan in Patna , capital of Bihar state India . It is a granary built by Captain John Garstin, in 1786. Golghar has a storage capacity of nearly 140000 tonnes of grains, which is sufficient to supply for thousands of people its maximum capacity due to an oversight during the construction of the structure; the doors were designed to open from the inside. As a result, if it is filled to its maximum capacity, then the doors will not open.
