Like the name suggests, Green Sushi is an environmentally-friendly sushi bar that tries as much as possible to offer organic and sustainably farmed ingredients. The green of the name is more than that, however: it also points to colourful sushi created with imagination, and the maki and sashimi offered in this small locale on one of Copenhagen's best shopping streets – for food as well as for clothing – look fresh and mouth-watering. There are also warm meals like soba noodles and teriyaki marinated salmon, with tofu dishes for vegetarians/ vegans - more in the winter. Prices are fairly reasonable, starting at 79kr for a substantial portion, with food available to eat in or take away. Another branch has recently opened on Nørrebro's Jægersborggade.
