Grote Street is largely occupied by retail outlets, as well as St Patrick's Church, Her Majesty's Theatre and a branch of the Adelaide City Council library. The rear entrance of the Adelaide Bus Station is located on this street. Given that the Moonta Street Chinatown is accessible via Grote Street, it is also home to some Chinese restaurants and other businesses owned by Chinese Australians and Korean Australians.
