The Rural Museum at Gunnedah is one of Australia's largest collections of early agriculture and transport memorabilia with a display of over 1600 exhibits. A small entry fee is payable at the door and volunteers are available to direct you through the museum and explain about the exhibits and answer any questions you may have. The Museum houses Tractors, Steam Engines, Antique Farm Machinery, Horse Drawn and Motorized Vehicles, Household Items, Gun Collection, RSL Exhibit, Working Foundry and Timber Workshop. Museum volunteers are happy to cater a light lunch or morning and afternoon teas for small organisations or visiting Coach groups. Previous arrangement is required for this, please contact the museum direct on the number provided. A well stocked souvenir gift shop is located on site.
