Hambledon Cottage, a colonial Georgian cottage built for John Macarthur in 1824, is a house museum where visitors, young and old, can experience the 19th century lifestyle and see original furniture of the period, some with Parramatta provenance.  It is set in 2 acres of land with heritage trees (c1817).  All tours of our museum are conducted by our experienced volunteer guides.It  is open on most Public Holidays .
