Hana Korean Barbeque

21 Aziz Abaza St Cuisines: Asian

About

As the name implies, you'll find barbecue here, only you get to make it yourself using small charcoal grills built into the table. Large portions of items such as beef and squid are accompanied by rice or noodles. If self-service isn't your thing, it also has an extensive menu of Korean and Asian food that stretches from Western Chinese standards such as egg fried rice and egg drop soup to more obscure dishes such as shark fin soup. Decor is basic, and service, though slow, is very pleasant and helpful. One nice touch here is the half-dozen or so dishes of assorted kimchi and appetizers that arrive before your food to tide you over until the entrees arrive. Note: Hana closes unusually early for Cairo, so get there by 9pm.
