I visited place in summer of 2009 it was a very hot day we started from chamarajnagar and all my fellow travellers were complaining about summer heat till we reached this place we passed through the forest check post and went ahead and "voila" the climate changed as if winter had arrived. This is a good place to see wild elephants roaming around in large herds this place is about 35kms from chamarajnagar and 30 kms from nanjangud there is only one ksrtc bus better to go by your own vehicle
