Designed by Roskell Payne, the Husainabad Clock Tower is one of the tallest clock towers in India. Located adjacent to the Rumi Darwaza, it is a fine example of English artistic brilliance. Made of gunmetal, this clock tower is an imposing structure in Lucknow that should definitely feature on your itinerary. The Victorian Gothic clock tower is over 67 meters high with a huge pendulum at a length of 14 feet. The dial of the clock if designed in the shape of a 12-petalled flower with bells around it. Passing through this gorgeous tower, you can't help but marvel at this architectural wonder. Surrounding the clock tower is a lush green garden, which contrasts beautifully with this piece of architecture.
