With a weekly changing menu of chef specials, Indus serves northern Indian cuisine in a dining room tastefully lit and decorated with wood accents on sandstone walls. Indus took over the space formerly occupied by the vegetarian restaurant Whole Earth, but the non-meateaters still have a nice list of options here. Meals begin with complimentary samosa and papadum with mango, mint and tamarind-tomato sauces on the side. Quality and flavor are good and a cup of masala tea is a nice finish to the meal.
