This shop was established in 1971 and became a workers' co-operative in 1979. Since then it has grown into a large retailer, wholesaler and baker of natural wholefoods. Specialists in organically grown produce, they sell fruit and vegetables amongst a huge range of food-stuffs. They also stock vitamin supplements and alternative remedies with healing properties, such as Bach Flower Remedies. Experts occasionally visit to give talks about such products. There is a useful noticeboard in the window for advertising.
