The Indian Premier League (IPL) is an Indian professional league for men's Twenty20 cricket clubs with double round-robin and playoffs. Currently, eight clubs partake in the tournament that takes place in summer, usually between the months of April and June.The Premier League is the most-watched Twenty20 cricket league in the world. It is generally considered to be the highest-profile showcase in the world for Twenty20 club cricket.

The 2014 season of the Indian Premier League, abbreviated as IPL 7 or Pepsi IPL 2014, will be the seventh season of the IPL.A part of this season will be held outside India.The tournament will be jointly hosted by India, the United Arab Emirates, and Bangladesh. The opening matches will be held in the UAE at three different stadiums in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah.
