Founded in 2008 by jewellers Clare Grennan and Laura Caffrey, the Irish Design Shop showcases the best of craft and design made right here in Ireland. The products have a focus on craftsmanship and design that combine traditional skills with a contemporary aesthetic. Clare and Laura have created a beautiful outlet not only for their own work, but also the work of other talented makers creating great pieces around the country. The warm, clean feel of the shop uses minimal colours and fuss to really showcase these colourful, well-crafted and timeless products. Gorgeous gifts and accessories for the home, family, friends, or just yourself, are among the stylish for shoppers looking for something that little bit different. Open Mon-Sat 10am - 6pm. At the second outlet in the RHA gallery there is on-street parking, as well as being located inside one of Dublin's finest art galleries, where there is a cafe and toilet facilities.
