Islands West run courses on discover scuba diving, open water diving, advanced open water diving, medic first aid, rescue diving, speciality courses, U/W naturalist, boating diving, multilevel diving, dry suit diving, navigation diving, night diving, search and recovery diving, and deep diving from their two dive centres, one on Clare Island the other on Inish Bofin. Also on offer are, sea angling, Island hopping trips and general boat charter. Each centre can cater for 24 divers but a maximum of 36 can be arranged subject to accommodation.Clare Island is located just off Westport, beside Achill Island, off the west coast of Ireland. It home to some of the best scenery above and below the water. It is also a great location for hill walking. Grace O’Mally, Granuaile, The Pirate Queen’s castle and old abbey are located here.Inish Bofin is located off the coast of Connemara and contains the old barracks owned by Cromwell.
