38 King George Street

About

Ze'ev Jabotinsky was the leader of the more militant, "revisionist" strand of Zionism. The Etzel was the pre-State paramilitary force led by him, which operated against both the Arabs and the British before the creation of the state of Israel. The second floor of the building is devoted to telling Jabotinsky's story. There are also changing exhibitions on different aspects of his movement's history. The lower floor tells the history, in considerable detail, of the Etzel. The exhibtions are well assembled, with accompanying audio and visual material, and items and personal effects from the period represented. Admission: NIS 6 for adults; NIS 4 for students; NIS 3 for seniors and children.
