The Jai Vilas Palace is the most popular historic sightseeing destination of the city of Jawhar. This palace is also known as Raj Bari and used to be the residential palace of the kings of Munke family. This palace is located on a hill top and due to its location it was used by the kings to keep an eye on their enemies.
