The exposition is composed of paintings and furniture related to Jan Matejko and Hugo Kołłątaj who used to live in the manor. This remarkable collection includes Portraits of Polish Kings by Jan Matejko, which is the work of Matejko's students: L. Strojnowski and Z. Papieski. A series of paintings, by an anonymous author, illustrating Niemcewicz's Śpiewy historyczne by Niemcewicz can also be seen in the museum. These paintings are one of the first examples of Romanticism in the Polish art. Moreover, there are paintings, furniture, and objects of everyday use which revive the unique atmosphere of suburban manors of the Krakow intelligentsia.Please, note, that the village of Krzesławice lies within the city limits of Krakow.
