Jardín Francés

Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina

About

El Jardín Francés is part of the first park in Rosario, El Parque de la Independencia, inaugurated in 1902. However, el Jardín Francés, (the French garden) was built as an addition to the park in 1942. Adorned with season flowers, the garden is known for it's two ornate female sculptures in imported Italian Carrara marble. This is one of my favorite places to pull up a spot of grass and read a good book! It is a somewhat over looked part of the Parque de la Independencia, making for a quiet secret spot in the center of the cities chaos!
