The Jewish Museum of Australia is an award-winning museum showcasing the rich history and diverse culture of the Jewish people with a particular focus on Australian Jewish life, past and present. The 'Australian Jewish History Gallery' tells the unique contribution Jews in Australia have accomplished over the last 200 years. The 'Timeline of Jewish History' is a remarkable journey through 4,000 years of tumultuous Jewish history. The 'Jewish Year' celebrates the annual cycle of festivals and holy days that give rhythm and form to Jewish life. The 'Belief and Ritual' examines the enduring religious beliefs and traditions that have bound Jews together throughout the years. The 'Kalman Katz Coin Collection' an extensive collection of Israeli coins, notes and medals from 1948 to 1998, plus a selection of ancient coins.
