A Khachapuri is a delectable cheese-filled pastry that's a specialty of Georgia (the country, not the US state!) Master baker and Georgian native, Tango Shavit opened up this cozy bakery-cafe on the outskirts of the Machane Yehuda Market a couple of years ago and has been serving up Khachapuri and other sinfully delicious and out of the ordinary baked goods to the clamoring hordes ever since. Everything is under kosher certification and is open, Sun - Thu: 08:00-20:00, Fri: 08:00-15:00. You won't be able to walk by without stopping by for a taste of some of the best baked goods you'll ever encounter.
