Kaduthuruthy Shiva Temple is a famous Shiva temple which is also referred to as the Thali Temple. It is believed that the statue of Lord Shiva in the sanctum was installed by a demon named, Khara. The Shivalinga in the sanctum faces towards the east. Kaduthuruthy Shiva temple has wooden carvings depicting the story of Lord Shiva.
