Kalo is the quintessential Jerusalem neighborhood cafe.  If you want to get a taste of Jerusalem life, Kalo is a good place to start. Whether you choose to sit inside in the cozy couple of rooms that make up the cafe, furnished with an eclectic group of purposefully mismatched furniture, or outside where you'll see neighbors greeting each other and experience Jerusalem street life, the ambiance is what makes this place. Breakfast is served all day and the coffee is amongst the best in the city.  Sandwiches and generous salads, home-baked croissants and fresh juices round out the menu.  The cafe has kosher certification.
