Kandhar Fort is located in Kandhar Town in the district of Nanded. The fort was built by King Krishna III of Malkhed, for security purposes. The fort, which is almost in ruins, is encircled by a moat and is famous for its architecture. The fort is located in the heart of the town and is at distance of 50 km from the Ranthambhore National Park.
