Kangra Art Museum is Situated in Kotwali Bazaar of Dharamsala, Kangra Art Gallery was inaugurated in 1990. The museum has unique paintings, old coins, sculptures and old artifacts which are on display for the tourists and the visitors. It stores many old items which came from the Tibetan and Buddhist origin with a vast amount of cultural and traditional importance within.The museum is pretty old and dates back to 5th century according to the old beliefs. Many archaeologists have donated vast amount of artifacts to this museum including antique jewelry, embroidered costumes and wooden carvings from the medieval period.
