Kapda Bazaar near Town hall is the main shopping area for ladies. The bazaar is lined with a number of small shops with products at a reasonable rates. Dupattas, earrings, salwar kameezes, bangles and bindis of different colours are available from these shops. Besides these, the narrow path on both sides of the bazaar are occupied with platform sellers, selling different colors of cloth pieces, sikh paraphernalia, papad to vibrant head scarves. part from these shopping centers, there are other areas like Shastri Market famous for woollens and blankets; Majith Mandi famous for pappad - vadis of Amritsar; Mishri Bazaar, the place to buy dry fruits; Katra Mohan Singh famous for bridal glass bangles etc
