Kareri Lake is a high altitude, fresh water lake south of the Dhauladhar, it is one of the popular locations among adventure enthusiasts.The natural water body in the pasture land is among the popular trekking trails from Dharamshala.The lake remains frozen from early December to March-April. There is a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and Shakti on a hilltop overlooking the lake.
