Located in the middle of Zamalek, Kasr El Shook is a small but tightly packed silver store that sells everything from card holders to shisha pipes. Quality is excellent and prices are, with a little haggling, comparable to Khan El Khalili. The owner is an aficionado of classic Egyptian films, so ask him about the retired actors still living in the neighborhood.
