As the name suggest Katraj Snake Park has a collection of snakes, reptiles, birds & turtles. It was Set up in the year 1986 by Mr. Neelam Kumar Khaire. You can see more than 160 species of snakes. Built on the outskirts of the city the park is an ideal place to spend a day at leisure with the entire family especially children with the addition of the zoo. At very regular intervals festivals and programs are held to spread awareness and remove common myths about reptiles which are usually dreaded. During the festival of Nagpanchami, the Snake Park holds a number of programs while discouraging mistreatment of snakes amongst people.
