This gallery is a small gem. It is situated in one of the main roads of the city, just before you reach the statue of Leonidas and the Archaeological site.
The building is very impressive, one of the best examples of neoclassical architecture from the early 20th century.
The entrance fee is just 3 euros - and there is no fee for children, students or people over 65.
When we visited there was a temporary exhibition of beautiful post-byzantine icons, an interesting mixture of byzantine and western art, dating from the 18th and 19th century.
The staff was very polite and helpful when we asked about some other sites we wanted to visit.
